Honda Civic Gen 10/11 1.5T GFB DVX Diverter Valve
Go Fast Bits' DVX is the last diverter valve you'll ever need for your 1.5T Civic! The factory diverter, or bypass valve, is a cheaply made diverter valve made from stamped steel and use a softer rubber diaphragm to seal boost. GFB's DVX is machined from billet aluminum and uses a metal piston to seal boost. This piston is faster reacting and less leak prone than the factory diverter valve.
The biggest feature of the DVX is the adjustability it offers with a simple flip of a switch! By moving a small lever on the top of the valve it can be changed from 100% full recirculation like the factory valve to a 50% recirculation and 50% vent to atmosphere valve, or anywhere in between. The 1.5T in the Civic uses a MAF sensor so we only recommend running the DVX no more than halfway open to keep fuel trims in check and avoid throwing any check engine lights. Even with the valve just a quarter of the way open there is a significant difference in sound so there is plenty of room to tailor the valve for your desired sound level!

Install was a little tough, but very worth it! I get some pretty sweet "PSSHH" noises now every time I get into boost then let off the gas. I only have it 25% open and it is plenty loud!
The build quality is also super nice, way better than the crappy stamped diverter. And the three included hex/allen bolts are way nicer than the 30mm torx that are stock.
I know BOV is not recommended for this car Hatch 2019 1.5t CVT. But this part is different, you can adjust the level of recirculation for those moments of joy and fun and then return to normal. BTW Im 59 years old and enjoy my daily car everyday.
Installed one on my PRL T.I.P. Fitment was great and installation was pretty simple. Definitely use the vacuum line that comes with the DVX instead of trying to reuse the PRL line that comes with the intake pipe. I run it fully recirculated, and fuel trims are spot-on with the OEM BPV. Tone is similar to stock but sharper and a bit louder. Full boost the valve has a nasty ripping sound to it and definitely works as designed. Overall really happy with it and Austin's customer service!
Bought this unit when I upgraded to a bigger turbo. It came well packaged and ready to install. Includes a long enough hose for various applications, had to trim down some. Includes two sets of allen bolt hardware, both short and long. Construction is very stout. Installed with no issues, no modifying of anything needed. Valve comes preluded and is ready to use as soon as installed. The adjustment lever which controls how much boost is bled off to the atmosphere, is nice and tight. You don’t have to worry about it rattling to a different setting. Where ever you set the adjustment to, it will stay. Great product and I would recommend to anyone looking to replace a tired bpv or just looking for a more robust and adjustable unit.
Quality product easy install , feel more confident then with factory one and the option to crack open the adjustable blow off is cool.
