Honda L15B7/CA + K20C Engine Stand Mounting Plate
This plate allows for your L15B7, L15CA, K20C1, K20C4 or K20C2 engine block to be mounted to an engine stand by the side of the block. This allows for better access to the rear of the crankshaft when installing various parts such as the rear main seal and clutch assembly.
Made from 8mm steel it can support the weight of a fully dressed engine. Finished in wrinkle black powdercoat for a durable finish. We strongly recommend using grade 10.9 bolts (M10x1.25)

It is only secured to two points (only thing it lines up with). Is that really strong enough to support the entire engine? I guess it works. PIA to use with a harbor freight stand.
Hello! We've mounted fully dressed engines using our plate without any issues. We definitely recommend some grade 10.9 or strong bolts that engage most of the threads in the block for max safety but yes, two 10mm bolts are enough for holding an engine!
As for the stand, the plate was designed around the more traditional style engine stands that have slotted holes in the head, it appears Harbor freight has changed their engine stand design and no longer sells it like this. There are many other brands that still use this style stand for a similar price though!
