It also works with the delay valve in the slave cylinder to serve as a safety buffer for the drivetrain to save it from abusive driving that would shock the drivetrain unnecessarily like clutch dumps etc. but that safety net comes at the cost of responsiveness and engagement feedback.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003e Unlike the previous 10th generation Civic which had the damper integrated into the clutch master cylinder, on the 11th generation Civic the damper is a standalone component that is in the middle of the clutch line between the clutch master cylinder and slave cylinder.
